..Jaz is my first nice one..Got it as a gift probably in the early '80s.

Not sure I'd consider it Nice wi' capital 'N'.

This one crossed me workbench, once...

I gifted it to this tyke for her birthday, back in 2012...

She was o'er the moon wi' it...

But, to it's credit (and her's - She's taken good care of it!), it's still running A-OK. I installed a fresh battery in it just last fall, in fact...

Cheers!

Yep, was 11 when the movie hit the big screen. I might have had another before the Star Wars one - probably... Jpeg Attachments Mike D 98 March 26, 2017 08:35AM
No way likely you had a quartz Timex handed down in 1977 or earlier. BF Hammer 102 March 28, 2017 02:55PM
You're probably right - I can't remember - my dad had a lot of Timex mechanicals. (n/t) Mike D 68 April 03, 2017 08:10PM
Haha, lots of good stories Cheers! (n/t) Hemel 93 March 25, 2017 08:29AM

No, it was a sweet G.I. Joe watch that came with a folding toothbrush for some reason. zekeryan56 96 March 24, 2017 04:42PM

Bonus: My "first" watch before my first watch. Jpeg Attachments BF Hammer 98 March 24, 2017 07:45PM
Still, that's a cool Waltham. Thumbs Up Do you juggle? (n/t) Zeb 84 March 24, 2017 04:28PM
I tried to learn juggling, but I'm terrible at it. I can barely juggle scarves, and had small success with bouncing balls off the floor. (n/t) BF Hammer 111 March 24, 2017 04:36PM
I used to be pretty good before my joints disintegrated. I was a big spazzy nerd, so having such a skill was awesome. Smile (n/t) Zeb 107 March 24, 2017 04:48PM
It's our generation Hemel 86 March 24, 2017 02:11PM
I wish. Sad It was an early '60s Timex boys watch. Probably been gone 50 years now. (n/t) jhargrave 95 March 24, 2017 01:18PM
I probably chucked it in the mid 1980s as a teenager wearing a Casio calculator watch. (n/t) JohnSNY 112 March 24, 2017 01:11PM
Nope. I had a bad habit of taking things apart to see how they worked. Zeb 102 March 24, 2017 12:54PM
