and after winning, there were a lot of prizes to choose from, one of which was a Mickey Mouse watch. But since I had just gotten the Caravelle, my Mom told me to choose something else. Guess she didn't think having more than one watch made sense. Wonder what she would think of me now. Smile

No way likely you had a quartz Timex handed down in 1977 or earlier. BF Hammer 198 March 28, 2017 02:55PM
You're probably right - I can't remember - my dad had a lot of Timex mechanicals. (n/t) Mike D 138 April 03, 2017 08:10PM

Still, that's a cool Waltham. Thumbs Up Do you juggle? (n/t) Zeb 181 March 24, 2017 04:28PM
I tried to learn juggling, but I'm terrible at it. I can barely juggle scarves, and had small success with bouncing balls off the floor. (n/t) BF Hammer 205 March 24, 2017 04:36PM
I used to be pretty good before my joints disintegrated. I was a big spazzy nerd, so having such a skill was awesome. Smile (n/t) Zeb 183 March 24, 2017 04:48PM

I wish. Sad It was an early '60s Timex boys watch. Probably been gone 50 years now. (n/t) jhargrave 196 March 24, 2017 01:18PM
I probably chucked it in the mid 1980s as a teenager wearing a Casio calculator watch. (n/t) JohnSNY 211 March 24, 2017 01:11PM
