Correct. The 6431 is 18-½ ligne vs. the 6497 at 16-½ ligne...

..or 41.73mm vs. 37.22mm.

While the Commander, at 46mm, is a large watch by the standards of some, it's pretty much THE smallest case into which a Unitas 6431/6445 can be shoehorned.

The finish and level of adjustment on these can vary hugely. The Waltham-branded movement even used an entirely different shock-protection system (Kif vs. Incabloc).
