Input time everyone! What is the most unusual watch you've ever owned?
avatar May 23, 2020 12:04PM
We've seen a lot of types and styles around here through the years. Case modifications, complete mods, unusual movement, dials and setups. Let's see what you would consider your most unusual watch to have had on your wrist.

I've worn my Hebrew dialled Aviv watch and an early smart watch with cool dial representations, but I would have to place my Storm watch as the most unique. The small Chinese movement on a single line was very odd and with no dial to speak of, you could see your wrist through the case back. My son is now wearing it proudly.

Kind of a toss up for me. . . Jpeg Attachments Kelly 7 May 27, 2020 10:55AM
An Omega with the look of a Casio, well, that's cool! Cool (n/t) James T. Kirk© 1 May 27, 2020 01:55PM
This one's not all that unusual really, just different.... Jpeg Attachments RussMurray 16 May 25, 2020 10:20AM
Thumbs Up Pretty cool moose stamp watch! (n/t) Zeb 11 May 25, 2020 12:45PM
Thanks. Rocky seems to like it as well Wink (n/t) RussMurray 9 May 26, 2020 08:07AM
Unusal and cool! marsss25 10 May 25, 2020 10:27AM
Funny you should say that. I remember buying an "RCMP" watch for my brother years ago. He lives in the States.....no hockey sticks though Wink (n/t) RussMurray 8 May 26, 2020 07:11AM
That's a cool one, Marcel. Thumbs Up I've had a few unusual watches. The Yes watch solunar watch was very unusual and cool... Jpeg Attachments Mike D 20 May 24, 2020 07:45PM
Funny, could have fitted right in my collection. That bracelet on that Sector: WOW! And the Angular Momentum is great looking! (n/t) James T. Kirk© 7 May 26, 2020 12:17AM
Cool I always like those Yes watches. Very unique time pieces. (n/t) Zeb 9 May 25, 2020 12:45PM

This Paidu rotating discs is the most unusual watch I've had. Jpeg Attachments JohnSNY 21 May 24, 2020 05:19PM
Interesting! (n/t) James T. Kirk© 7 May 26, 2020 12:14AM
Yeah, it took me a while to figure out what time the watch was showing. (n/t) Zeb 10 May 25, 2020 12:47PM
Me too. The battery died and it now lives in my parts bin. Its not a part of my collection anymore. (n/t) JohnSNY 7 May 26, 2020 07:29PM
I understand the design, but is it ever confusing... (n/t) marsss25 12 May 24, 2020 05:23PM
I never knew exactly what time it was. I only wore it on weekends when 6:30ish was all the accuracy I needed. (n/t) JohnSNY 10 May 24, 2020 07:19PM
Lol! (n/t) marsss25 11 May 24, 2020 07:26PM
I think, it's this lump of metal! It's now a daily wearer for my son, who likes gold... Jpeg Attachments James T. Kirk© 20 May 24, 2020 02:12AM
I remember that one! Did it come with the gold mesh? (n/t) Zeb 9 May 25, 2020 12:48PM
Yep, and it has the same innards and strap as my Rover & Lakes... James T. Kirk© 7 May 26, 2020 12:22AM

Re: That is a hefty lefty you were wearing! Glad it didn't just end up sitting in the watch box. James T. Kirk© 9 May 26, 2020 12:05AM
Probably this one, although it wasn't all that weird. Fossil Big Tic Jpeg Attachments Zeb 21 May 23, 2020 03:20PM

Yeah, there was a whole series of them, like Chris' watch. (n/t) Zeb 11 May 24, 2020 12:54PM
That reminded me about this one. Totally forgot about it too. Laughing Jpeg Attachments BF Hammer 16 May 23, 2020 03:48PM
I remember that! Same Fossil series, I think. (n/t) Zeb 11 May 23, 2020 05:28PM
Marcel, I still search around for the right watch with that movement as I long wanted one. My most unusual was the Solsuno LED. Jpeg Attachments BF Hammer 23 May 23, 2020 01:36PM
Cool watch, but if I can't see the time at a glance it won't work for me. (n/t) Zeb 11 May 23, 2020 05:30PM
Cool, looks like something from Toyko Flash. Smile ..... Robmks 13 May 23, 2020 03:09PM
I've had a version of the LED watch. with arcs instead of circular dial. marsss25 16 May 23, 2020 02:17PM
This is among the versions on Wish that I look at. Image Attachments BF Hammer 22 May 23, 2020 02:42PM
This one lost the Romans. But would you buy it for the price of a decent new car? LOL Jpeg Attachments Zeb 15 May 23, 2020 05:34PM
The Chinese copy of that is on Wish for about $88. Image Attachments BF Hammer 19 May 23, 2020 05:59PM
I totally understand that! LOL I was just kidding, because they're like 30 grand (n/t) Zeb 12 May 23, 2020 06:03PM
It is good looking for sure. Not as fond of the Automatic, but it is a cool complication. (n/t) marsss25 14 May 23, 2020 02:48PM
At least the rotor gives a show as you wear it. I also believe they would be better with a tinted rear crystal to add contrast. BF Hammer 16 May 23, 2020 03:03PM
Lol! Some good ideas there, though. (n/t) marsss25 13 May 23, 2020 03:31PM
