Sorry Micha! Laughing What I do is...

I use the camera's built-in leveler to get my camera leveled. Once all is plum/level you are good to go. Key is your camera must be leveled. Now you can shift the lens up or down to make your composition work and all verticals will be straight. The only thing that takes time, for me, is manual focusing. I focus, live view, about 1/3 up the frame. Then I zoom in 5x or 10x somewhere in the background. If it's out of focus I will tilt the lens down till the background is focused. Then I zoom into the foreground to make sure it's still focused. If it's not I will refocus via manual focus. Then zoom back to the background and check to make sure it's still in focus. I will repeat this till both the foreground and background is focused. It's time consuming but it works! I saw this technique on YouTube...

This will give you great DOF! Thumbs Up If you tilt the lens up you will get the opposite, very shallow DOF. This can give you the miniature look.
