A little redemption on the 4th: Jupiter from my back door.

These are pretty extreme enlargements. It looks like a little dust spot on the original full-size images. Laughing

Jupiter at a lower exposure setting, trying to bring out the color and maybe some of the banding. Air is just too humid to allow for it I guess.



But turning up the exposure to bring 3 moons into view. Doing better, I like my focus much more. Wink



Took a screencap of Stellarium to show which moons those are tonight.



If I could stay up later, I may have gone on to try Saturn which was hiding behind a tree for me.
