This comic book scan looks like it came from about 1940 or so, but it is a more modern parody. This is from a blog about highly inappropriate comic book material. Visit at your own risk of what you may see.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

Sorry, no advice from me about buying motorcycles. I say get an E-bike and then the bike paths are open for your use. Hamilton Team Earthby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
I actually put away my snow shovels yesterday and have been bringing out the spring stuff from storage the last couple of days. I'm finally feeling confident this spring weather will stick a while. The Mako is running only +45 seconds since setting it last on Wed night, after hacking it for the lume shots. Not too shabby.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

I would never knowingly buy a 44.5mm watch. I max out at 42-43mm.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

I take meds for that. The last time I experienced this kind of ear problem was about 11-12 years ago, but it was worse and put me down for about 5 days. The room would spin on me if I stood up back then. Today I am all better though.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
The blue Mako won't pop in this cloudiness, so I'm going with the Maratac mid-pilot quartz.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
The Mako II has the same dimensions basically as the original Mako. 41.5 or 42mm depending how you hold the calipers. The most important change being the new movement which hacks and handwinds. I may not have been clear, yes that 2nd pic is of an original Mako that I used to own 12 years ago. It's a bummer to be sick when it is nice outside. About 2/3 of the snow from Wednesday is now all melted away. But this morning I had vertigo immediately getting out of bed. Literally could not keep my balance with my eyes closed. Got interesting washing in the shower. I have been getting better during the day, hope it is all passed tomorrow.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

This is just a sampling of stuff I got rid of. There are times I sort of miss that desert-sand Seiko. Would have been a better watch with a solid case back that didn't make it sit so high on a wrist.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
I've rediscovered a folder of old watch photos. I totally forgot I owned this watch, and the date would indicate to me it is my first mechanical chrono. Now I'm going insane trying to figure out where that glass plate I used to use for a photo background is now.by BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
There are a lot of ethnic Germans in my area (and I have some German in me too) so the pronunciation can go either way here. I went to school with a Yunker, and I am certain that the "Y" was originally a "J" in the old country. They could have changed it entering the country, it might have happened in 1917 when the USA entered WWI. But there are a lot of German last names andby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

This bracelet has a 2mm taper at the first link, possibly different from original. I tried a variety of nylon straps with the original black back in the day. I didn't like the 22mm width with nylon straps. I always felt a bracelet with a taper was the right way to go with this watch. Honestly, on the old PMWF there were perhaps 2 or 3 people who would criticize the pusher regularly. I think evby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
And the box fully-open.... This is sort of a re-acquisition for me. I had an original Mako in black with the dolphin rubber strap way back in the day. I sold it for a few reasons back then. But at the time I regretted not getting a blue dial. I also regretted getting the strap instead of the bracelet (but the strap version was <$100 purchase then). The pepsi version was only available onby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
By all forecasts, it may be the last snow of the season, but 3-5 inches of accumulation expected by tomorrow. I just read a news story that we are threatening to be the snowiest April on record this year, and have way eclipsed the previous record of latest date where we first exceed 60F. As of today the highest temp of 2018 has been 59F. Might hit 60F middle of next week after the snow that fellby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum

I just reinvested my winnings from the last Powerball drawing wearing the Marlin Super-Illuminator. But that will not last. The mail was delivered about 15 minutes ago... I have some real pictures to take now. And a bracelet to resizeby BF Hammer - Wallet Friendly Watch Discussion Forum
